MENSONA KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward

Exhibitors at the Mensona Kennel Club’s two shows in Santa Rosa CA this past weekend were just 40 miles from the epicenter of Sunday’s big earthquake. However, it takes more than a little shaking to keep fanciers from their favorite pursuit. The seven dogs that made it to judge James Reynolds final on Saturday were the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, the Akita, GCH CH Mojo’s Continuation of a Myth, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Regency’s Play For Keeps, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Kulana’s Sh-Boom, the Keeshond, GCH CH Skyline's Unit Of Measure, and the Puli, GCH CH Mt Hood’s Leapin Linni Of Tordor.

Finishing one/two were the Field Spaniel, Gideon, and the Puli, Linni. Gideon is the country’s Number Three Sporting Dog with nine BIS in 2014.

GCH CH Regency’s Play For Keeps

Sunday judge John Burgess would see the same seven save two the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M&M’s Fear The Beard, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Wedgewood’s Abracadabra. Collecting the BIS was the Schnauzer, Keeper. Snagging the RBIS was the Keeshond, Cubit.

It was the second of the year for Keeper and handler Bill McFadden.  Both BIS have come in the last five weeks.
